Winners unveiling “Ultimate Orienteering photo contest 2009″
September 12, 2009 by Niels-Peter Foppen
Over the past weeks we invited you to submit your best orienteering image of 2009’s summer and share our passion for orienteering. What were we looking for? What Ultimate Orienteering would expect: some orienteering action shots!
The number of entries was a bit disappointing. Looking back, we had expected more participation, … but we are glad that in the final days of the submission window some more people have send us their photos.
Jury’s choice
The jury for the 2009 edition of Ultimate Orienteering photo contest – Jan Kocbach, Lucie Babel, Wouter Foppen, Niels-Peter Foppen – selected a number of 15 finalists and made their vote. The image with the most votes will win first place honors. The image with the second most votes will win the second place honors.
Visitors’ Choice
We also asked our visitors to lend us their eyes. As soon as the 15 finalists were announced you had the opportunity to vote for his or her favorite image. The image with the most votes will be named the “Visitors’ Choice” and wins the third prize. In total 550 votes – in 49 hours – have been given in “Visitors’ Choice ″.
